Background

InstaBlue Protein Stain Solution is a ready-to-use staining reagent containing Coomassie Brilliant Blue.It is designed for visualizing protein bands in polyacrylamide gels. Its specialized formulation enables rapid formation of dye-protein complexes, without gel fixation, washing or destaining steps. Protein bands can be observed clearly within minutes, while extended incubation can enhance sensitivity. It allows detection as low as 5 ng of protein. The solution provides a clean background. InstaBlue stain, devoid of methanol or toxic substances, prevents gel shrinkage and serves as an efficient tool for protein electrophoresis analysis in biomedical research.
